Hourly Assisted Care

This type of care is the most common for us. Here we help your loved one with what we call activities of daily living (ADLs) such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation to and from appointments, cooking & feeding, ambulation assistance, and much more.

Hourly Companion Care

Another common type of care is companionship care. This is where your loved one is moderately self-sufficient, but may need someone to talk to or help supervise activities like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, and so forth. This type of care is cheaper than Assisted Care. Call to see if Companionship Care is right for your loved one.

Live-In Care

Live-In care is where the caregiver resides in the client’s home for a 24-hour period. It can be 5 days a week, 7 days a week, over a weekend (Fri. to Mon.) or even every other weekend. This type of care can be either Companionship or Assisted. Due to a variety of reasons, Live-In care is not always available. One of our RN’s would be able to help you figure out if Live-In is the best option for you during your complimentary Initial Assessment.

Geriatric Care Management

Geriatric Care Management is defined by the National Institute on Aging as a, “sort of ‘professional relative’” but we go a step further. This type of care is where one of our Registered Nurses becomes part of your family, helping your loved one in a holistic fashion. This type of care includes things like helping coordinate and schedule appointments, evaluate living arrangements and identify needs, review financial and medical issues, offer referrals to specialists for certain types of care, or even be a client advocate; attending appointments on a family member’s behalf.

Nurse Check-In

Nurse Check-In is slightly less involved than Geriatric Care Management, but nevertheless many clients find it an important part of their care. This is where one of our RNs comes in to visit with your loved one, check on their medication, etc. Many of our clients who live across the country use this service to check in on their senior loved one when they cannot be there.
