Honoring Our Caregivers: A Night of Celebration, Gratitude, and Legacy
This past weekend, our ACCfamily team gathered for a very special event—our annual Caregiver Celebration Dinner. It was an evening filled with laughter, gratitude, and heartfelt recognition for the caregivers who make our mission possible every single day.
We had the joy of bringing together our Caregivers of the Month from July 2024 through June 2025 for a night of celebration, honoring their outstanding service, dedication, and love for the families they support. Each of these incredible individuals represents the best of ACCfamily—the compassion, integrity, and excellence that define who we are.
To make this moment even more meaningful, our entire leadership team joined together from across the United States and even from London to celebrate this special occasion. The evening was more than a dinner—it was a reflection of the heart of our company and the people who keep it beating.
Our caregivers come from all walks of life, and this year’s honorees represented anywhere from 9 months to over 31 years of service at ACCfamily—a true testament to the loyalty, heart, and dedication of our team. We are deeply grateful for each one of them and for the care they provide to our clients and their families.
Our Caregivers of the Month for 2024–2025 are:
July 2024: Willie Mae B.
August 2024: Victoria A.
September 2024: Toiba H.
October 2024: Vida F.
November 2024: Charlene W.
December 2024: Tiruwork B.
January 2025: Banchalem G.
February 2025: Marta M.
March 2025: Bernice A.
April 2025: Vivian A.
May 2025: Keyvette G.
June 2025: Shon K.
Each of these individuals was recognized for their excellence, reliability, and compassion in caregiving. We are so proud of the love and professionalism they bring to every client relationship, and we are honored to celebrate their achievements as part of our ACCfamily story.
This year, our celebration included a new and deeply meaningful addition—the introduction of the Lucy Boamah Caregiver of the Year Award. This honor was created to celebrate one caregiver who embodies the spirit of service, compassion, and dedication that defined the late Lucy Boamah, one of our most remarkable caregivers.
Lucy first joined ACCfamily in 2017 and faithfully served with us for six years before passing away in 2023. Over the course of her time with us, she worked with more than 30 clients, logging over 19,000 hours of care—the equivalent of nearly 2.2 years of her life spent serving others. Lucy was known for her unwavering kindness, her dependability, and her joyful spirit. She cared for every client with the same love and respect she would give to her own family, and her legacy continues to inspire our team today.
In honor of Lucy’s incredible impact, we are proud to announce that Ms. Victoria Adjei has been chosen as the first-ever recipient of the Lucy Boamah Caregiver of the Year Award for 2024–2025.
Victoria has been part of the ACCfamily for an incredible 18 years, and throughout that time, she has consistently exemplified excellence in caregiving. With many Caregiver of the Month awards to her name, her commitment to her clients, her professionalism, and her kind heart have made her a role model to all. It is a joy and an honor to recognize her with this award, which represents not only her hard work but also her heart for serving others with dignity, respect, and grace.
As we reflected on this evening, surrounded by our caregivers, leadership team, and loved ones, one message rang clear: our caregivers are the foundation of ACCfamily. Their compassion, strength, and selflessness make our mission possible. Each home they enter is brighter, each family they serve is stronger, and each client they touch is cared for with love.
To our caregivers—thank you for all you do. You are the embodiment of our mission to love and serve with excellence. Your dedication continues to inspire us all, and we are endlessly grateful for the difference you make every single day.
